Annual South Walton Kids’ Fishing TournamentApril 14, 2015
It’s once again time for the Coastal Conservation Association’s annual Kids’ Fishing Tournament at the Red Bar in Grayton Beach. If you own a home or South Walton real estate, be sure to enter your little ones for this family-friendly event!
Some of the best fishing along the Gulf Coast is done during the spring and early summer months. This event capitalizes on that fact by taking place on the morning of April 26, 2015.
Little ones of all ages, accompanies by an adult, are encouraged to enter and try their hand at reeling in the big one! Cost to enter this event is just $15 per child. This includes a youth membership with the CCA, as well as a rod and reef, bait, pompano rig and beach rod holder.
Watch as your child cast off in an attempt to haul in a pompano during the annual spring run through the waters of the Gulf of Mexico! And, if you are interested in participating in an adult tournament this summer, be sure to check out the Star Fishing Tournament presented by the CCA. Bring up a star-tagged Redfish between Memorial Day and Labor Day and you could win a new truck or boat!
