Summer may be over, but the fun doesnâ€™t stop on the Gulf Coast! September is littered with thrilling Gulf Coast events for people of all ages to enjoy. This Saturday, September 12, marks the final race of the 2015 GUSU PSUP Classic in Destin, Florida. Register for a paddle board race and a portion of your proceeds will go toward the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. There is a six mile race for the more experienced paddle boarder, a three mile race and a one mile beginner race. Children are invited to participate for free, and everyone is encouraged to stay after for an afternoon of games and demos.
Bands on the beach takes place every Tuesday night in Pensacola Beach, and the fourth annual Fort Walton Beach BBQ Festival starts on Friday, September 18. This is a two day event at The Landing in Fort Walton Beach featuring delicious barbecue, delicious drinks and fantastic music. Admission is free for everyone, so take a break from researching Gulf Coast real estate and head over to the landing for a fun, family-friendly event.

This is a three-day annual wine and culinary event that benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Alabama. Last, but certainly not least is the Chasinâ€™ the Sun Music Festival in Panama City Beach. Visit the Aaron Bessant Park Amphitheater for two days filled with live music, featuring big names like Alan Jackson.Â
